Holly Lane Affordable Housing

FOG Studio has been shepherding a renovation of 31 affordable-housing units in Vacaville – taking this project off the full plate of our friends at G7A Architecture | Urban, who have another renovation and a new housing project down the street with the same client. As an occupied rehabilitation project, the schedule has stretched out since March 2017 to accommodate the relocation of each tenant into temporary quarters – but we are pleased to say that the transformation is nearly complete, and Holly Lane is refreshed inside and out.

Nine units were completely gutted and rebuilt to achieve ADA compliance, and one of the parking lots was also reconstructed to provide ADA access to parking and the public right-of-way. The remaining flats and townhouses received complete makeovers, complete with new plumbing and appliances, dark wood cabinetry, crisp flooring and paint. New landscape design by KLA / Sam Harned Landscape Architecture creates a beautiful setting for the new exterior cladding and paint.
